For Chicago Bulls Fans

Chicago Bulls fans: Welcome to The Shootaround!

Thanks for visiting The Shootaround on Bullshype.com!

Here is where I’ll post my thoughts and opinions on the Chicago Bulls and the news of the day. For example:

It probably would have meant a little more if he had more of a desire to spend his winters in Chicago with the Bulls though.

      • This time of the year, after the craziness of the first couple weeks of NBA free agency, is kind of dull. It’s actually a good time to relax and reset. The league solidified itself as, at a minimum, the most entertaining of all the major sports leagues. There’s really nothing quite like the NBA.
      • The Chicago Bulls had a pretty successful offseason, adding Coby White and Daniel Gafford through the NBA draft and Thaddeus Young, Tomas Satoransky and Luke Kornet via free agency. There is still work to be done, however, because Kris Dunn is still on the roster and doesn’t appear to have a place in the rotation.
      • Justin Holiday, rumored to be involved in a Dunn sign-and-trade, signed with the Indiana Pacers, so he won’t be making his third stint with the Bulls this fall. That’s okay with me. He’s a solid locker room guy, but what Chicago needs is a solid wing shooter. Holiday struggled last season and was even worse with the Memphis Grizzlies.
      • Shaquille Harrison will be back next season with the Bulls. For all those screaming after Chicago let David Nwaba walk after last season, they should be happy with Harrison’s return. He’s a high-energy, low salary guy. With him and Ryan Arcidiacono on the roster, Chicago has a couple of hustle guys on the roster.
      • Kyle Korver, one of my favorite former Bulls, is signing with the Milwaukee Bucks. That might turn out to be one of the best low-key signings of the summer. You can simply never have enough shooting.

      • The roster looks good, but are the Chicago Bulls a playoff team? The eighth seed in the East last season, the Detroit Pistons, were a 41-win team. Can the Bulls improve by 19 wins after a 22-60 season? That’s a tall task.

So, this is a brief example of what The Shootaround will look like. As news breaks, I’ll share my takes, educated or not.
